So Many Sweethearts, So Little Time

Today we are spotlighting one of our beautiful sisters that graduated this spring! Molly graduated from UT’s College of Communication and has been such a wonderful part of our active body for the past eight semesters. Molly wrote a short piece about Texas Sweethearts and asked that we share it with you, which we couldn’t be more honored to do!

“In the fall semester of 2010, this small town, East Texas girl arrived in this huge, weird, scary but exciting city. Knowing a total of two people at The University of Texas, I was scared and alone. Living off campus as a freshman, I was in desperate need of friends, so I set out to find my place at this university. By the grace of God, I found my way to the amazing Texas Sweethearts. Suddenly my friend group of 2 had evolved into a circle of approximately 120 NEW friends. Extremely diverse girls from all over the globe that were all here looking for the same thing, a place to call home away from home. Four years have passed along with eight unique Sweetie classes and I could not have asked for a better group of girls to call sisters. Within this organization I have developed friendships that will honestly last a lifetime and met people that I will never forget. I found my place here, this is my family, and I am heartbroken that I have to leave it behind. I cannot speak highly enough about this organization and what it has given me during my time here. From the bottom of my heart I say thank you, Texas Sweethearts. Thank you for the countless memories that I can always look back on as a reminder of just how blessed I am. There are not words to describe how much I value the Texas Sweethearts and how honored I am to have been a part of it.”

Sassy & Classy,

Forever & Always.
